I guess it’s Roger who has the right insight on this matter because he holds the factory records. Stamping on this frame says it’s a 1945 NG with W/NG frame specs (AP prefix) However It makes me wonder why this NG does have a field stand which I never came across on a AP frame…

Apart from the Indian forks, we allready discussed, the frame number does have a AP prefix which means this is not a W/NG at all, but a NG mocked up as a war bike.
