as far as i know the only way you will have paint that possibly doesnt suffer effect of modern fuel is to use 2k activated clear laquer on top of 2k activated gloss paint , that will go hard and the clear laquer should give you the protection .
dont use 2k air dry because it will still be affected ...

its all as roger etc says really , some guys do make up wooden blocks to sit between piston and top of crankcase so the piston is vertically straight .
you should be able to squeeze rings in with fingers and as you drop barrel down onto piston and it will sort of pop in place with just a ...

this is the biggest battery that will fit inside the modern rubber pu7d box , i have one inside my battery box on my NH .
its 13ah 6v ES13-6 , the terminals are spade type and youll need some 90deg terminals to put on the battery cables .
the battery takes up all the room inside the case ...

those indian made MCR2 regulators are absolute junk , dont use one , it wont last very long at all .
they have steel terminal strip for starters unlike the original lucas brass ones .

hi paul , they all do that to some degree , youll get streaks on the exhaust downpipes and often oil drips from the pipes on to the floor , youll probably get some oil drips from the primary chaincase too and if the oiler for the rear chain is actually functioning you might get drips from the rear ...
