no need to pay silly money for semi fluid grease , you can use this EP00 NLGI 00, its £7.99 for 500g and that includes postage .

This is the type of semi fluid grease that I use and mentioned above. Very easy to fill into the filler hole. I was advised by Paul Meredith some years ago to add a cup full of 140 gearbox oil on top of the grease. This shall help to lubricate the gearbox bushes in case the grease moves to the outer gearbox shell at speed. I followed his advise and it worked well for me. Luckily I still have some SAE 140 oil left in a 20 liter barrel from the days I had a DKW 3=6 car.
