Hi Guys, once again need some help. I am trying to remove the sludge trap from my 58/59 HT5 (engine in situe). does anyone know what the head Hex size is. I have lots of different sockets but cant find a good fit. I have looked on the Draganfly site and can see the part number but no details.
Any idea of size type. As always any help much appreciated.

Re: HT5 Sludge Tap
It should be a BSW socket. I removed mine with a cold chisel (with the barrel off), the head was rounded. Single spares will sell you one with a metric head so you can use a six-sided socket in future. Fortunately with modern oils the sludge trap fills up very slowly nowadays.

Re: HT5 Sludge Tap
You certainly would not want one to come out in service but there's no need to tighten them till your eyes water The original head size is 1/4 BS. Some probably haven't been out since the warrantee ran out. The 3/8 AF and 11 MM are undersizes if you don't have a new one to replace it with. Nev
