I don't think I have seen a monobloc with so much crud in it before. Getting it clean will probably be difficult but will work wonders.

It's dead fuel by the look of it. Water in the idle passages and it's usually junked. Nev

This one was refurbished and is now back on the road:

The gum was dissolved in acetone and the remaining scale removed by abrasion, (DIY soda blasting). Only had to replace the gaskets and a broken throttle stop screw.
