Annual Rally 2019 - Booking In

Post by dave.pitt »

The Annual Rally is fast approaching. It opens in FIVE WEEKS as I write this, on Thursday 22 August and lasts four nights in Most Glorious Worcestershire, sandwiched between two areas designated "Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty." There are Bed and Breakfast rooms still available at £45 per night. These have a mini en-suite and come with towels and bed-linen, so you just ride up! It is essential to pre-book a room.
There is a large camping field for those who prefer this option. Camping is available at £6:50 per person per night. You don't get free breakfast though! It is NOT essential that you pre-book for camping, but it would make life easier for your organisers if you would.
The reasons are many... We have to let the site owners know who is on-site to comply with H&S regulations. We have to give a fairly accurate estimate of numbers attending as the caterers have to buy in food for the canteen and beer for the bar, and provide the right level of staffing. It is better for you because at the reception tent we will just look up your name, check you've paid and give you your keys and rally pack and away you go, without having to stop and find your wallet/chequebook, offer us a note and we have to find your change. We can't take cards on the gate!
So to re-iterate, Rooms are available and Pre-Book only. Camping is not essential to pre-book but I would be grateful if you would please. That way the caterers have no excuses for running out of beer!
The advert is in Cheval with my contact details, and you can contact me on arieldave@hotmail.co.uk

i have already paid in advance, a very simple process. I would recommend you do the same, it can’t be easy for the guys to predict numbers so we should do what we can to help them out.

Plus that means more cash to spend on rusty bits of motorcycle...
