KH TWIN OIL MODIFICATIONS

Hi all i seem to remember reading about a modification to the oil feed to the cylinder head on the 500 twins can anybody enlighten me as to what and why? please,. also burman gear levers my kg has a solid lever with a polished end 7" between centres and no provision for a rubber , i wonder if this is a wd lever ? what length lever should the cp gearbox use as i have various length ones to use , thanks in advance philip

Which year KH are we talking about? The oil modification is, from memory, 1956 onward, but only required because they cocked up the oil supply to the rockers with a mod in 1955. Earlier models are no problem from this point of view.
