Green Square Four

Post by Gariel.blake »

My current project is a 1951 Mk1 which was exported to Panama to the original owner. The dating certificate lists the colour as green. My question is : has any one else got a green bike or seen one or have any pictures. there is some green paint on the bottom of the tank and under the later paint job on the rims.
Cheers

Hi Garry,
There are a few green Ariels out there. I haven't seen a green Mk1, but there's no reason why not.
Green was more often an export colour, so there are probably more outside the UK.
I had the green paint from under the badges colour matched.
regards, Brenton

Hi Garry,
If you can't get enough colour to match, I could "paint" some paper or plastic and post it to you.
Keeping in mind that this would be a copy of a copy...
I've just realised you are in Aus. - so this would be no problem.
