alternative clutch
due to an ongoing project, I may have to do away with the shock absorber on the engine, has anyone found another clutch with a shock absorber that can be adapted to fit the burman gearbox? dave herbert

Ive never tried it but the adaptor type Burman mainshaft spline might be a direct swap for the AMC clutch.Does a belt drive need a shock absorber?I would have thought the belt would be its own cushion drive.Regards John.

Re: alternative clutch
I have no shock absorber with my belt dive, although I wonder if perhaps it could do with one. I do have to keep the revs up through the gears if I'm not to feel vibration through the foot pegs. But I'm used to it and with a twin it's no problem.
