I need a new valanced front mudguard to fit telescopic fork '46-'50 Ariel. There are such mudguards as well as petrol tanks etc appearing on eBay, made in India. Are these adequately made and well-fitting, although they obviously need drilling and painting?
Any opinions or experience would be helpful.

Thanks for your help, folks. Points well taken. However, is anyone sure that Bruce is still actually making parts? Naturally I'd rather buy from him if possible, as I've done so in the past - always good quality, fit and very reasonable prices.
