Is this an Ariel part

Post by RobFarey »

Hi

My Ariel is a girder fork model, so I am looking for expert input from the plunger owners out there.
I recently bought a Benelli from a deceased estate which came with a few spurious parts including a set of steering yokes and fork shrouds that obviously didn't belong to the Benelli. The guy did have a 1950 ish Ariel as well as the bike I picked up and I'm wondering if these are Ariel parts.
The offset steering pivot to forks is quite big at approx 4" and the distance between fork hole centers is approx 7 1/2".

Looking at the pictures in the archive on here, could they be late 40s, early 50s VH, VB, Square 4?
