I have now tried 5 different kickstart springs, none fit or work correctly, they all appear to be too big jamming the kickstart down when starting. Can anyone advice a spring that fits and works please.

Thanks Tony; been a member since 2005, I've had a club spring but it doesn't work very well at all.

When you say the spring is too big is it the thickness of the material, overall diameter or width of the spring that is too big or all 3?

From memory the Original spring is only 1/4 in wide and one end is a curled bit turning on a rivet.. Nev

Ok - firstly the colour of your name indicates you aren't a member - Admin should be able to sort that out.

Secondly - have you spoken to Geoff at Gearbox Spares? A discussion might result in a suitable spring, or at least no further poorly fitting ones.
