hig I am trying to identify the age/year of manufacture of an burman BA gearbox. It has the numbers on top 2 BAP 56321. The box has an oil filler capmade of plastic on the top front edge with no screw thread to hold it in. Behind there is a angled grease nipple.

2 prefix is SQ4 and boxes between 55339 to 60251 are from 1939 Ariel model year. Filler cap was originally Mazac not plastic!
