Hi ,can anyone tell me what the tappet settings should be for a 1938 500 cc red hunter ?

Original tappet settings are zero inlet and 2 thou exhaust so use these if you have the original steel pushrods and A6/664 camshaft. Zero on the inlet is obtained by having no clearance but still able to rotate the valve stem end cap with your fingers.
