Here's a little brain teaser for you all, in what might become a series...
It's a snippet from the 1932 despatch record for the 4F, in this case a bike shipped to Gdansk in Poland. The second word is 'carrier' and elsewhere in this entry it says the bike was shipped with two pannier bags.
The first word looks almost like Lycett. We know they made saddles, pillion footrests, handlebar grips too - but carriers?
What do you think it says?

First word 'Type' ??? I can only see a very small part - a larger shot might give more clues as to how characters have been written.

There's some variation in modern usage of the name Lycett. It seems to have an apostrophe on at least some original ads - Lycett's - but does not have a second 'e'.
Come to think of it, apostrophes should be banned anyway! Now where are those smilies??
