Could anyone help me with info on the taper of the sidecar fixings on the SQ4 please?
I have a few assorted spigots that have either the wrong taper or are square shouldered so hope to turn some down to the right angle.
Thanks,
Bernie

Re: Taper on sidecar fixings?
Hi Bernie, I'm not aware of any tapered lugs on an Anstey frame. I've only removed fittings, though, never attached a sidecar.
If there are tapers in the fittings, I think that will be fittings/sidecar manufacturer dependent.
I may be proved wrong!

Bernie , the frame lugs are not tapered and I just checked my stash of Ariel fittings and none are tapered , a good source of fittings is a guy quite near you , in Happisburgh Norfolk called grandfathers collection he is on Ebay , apparently he bought up tons of Panther ,sidecar and other m/c spares, and if you collect stamps he is a stamp dealer too , you may already know of him

Re: Taper on sidecar fixings?
Thanks - you're both right of course.
I'd looked through the front mount expecting to see a taper and a build-up of powder coat let me see what wasn't there!
I guess that makes complete sense if you want to be able to mount the chair on either side....
I will seek out grandfather's collection!
Cheers,
Bernie
