Leader Fuel Tap

Help I need a fuel tap for my leader, can anyone either supply or help with this.

hi do you need whole tap or cork plunger.phil robinson 1964 leader

The previous owner tried to chnge the cork seal but sheared the shaft flush. so I suppose I could get away with both parts of the brass cylinder.

hi geoff looking through boxes of parts have found tap plungers. but noticed they only go on or off not allowing it to turn to reserve it is just the plunger with cork phil robinson

Draganfly supply a tap which they have modified to fit the Leader.

I've repaired over 45 taps for the Leader/Arrow . Looking through some bits I bought last year to help do the repairs I found a valve fork/cork/selector barrel in good condition which should help get yours working.
I do make new taps for the Arrow/Leader but have sold out of the current batch and will not have any more built until the autumn at the earliest.

Sounds good to me can I purchase the barrel for now, and can you reserve me a built one when done. How can I pay you ? if you let me have your address and how much I can send a cheque asap.

£ 4-00 including postage will cover what I paid for it, you can also pay by paypal, bank transfer ( I 'll send details if needed ) or cheque made out to B. HINCHLIFFE.

The cork should be OK but if you dip it in hot water then dry and cover in oil the cork swells a bit and remains flexible which helps getting it in the tap bore easier and also gives a better seal.
