Hello All, Looking for a Solex 26 AH carburettor to fit my SQ4 '50 engine. I currently have an AMAL 389 horizontal from a sloper and this works alright but it does give me grief at times leaking fuel all over the place.

Hello Jorgen,
Thanks for the offer but the mounting for the type 30 is 53 mm and for SQ4 it is type 26 at 48mm. Close match but I may have to leave this one for someone who needs it more.
Just so I know can I ask you for the price? This is in case I decide to try and adapt to the SQ4.

Hello Keith,
Funny. Took a while to find but just received a parcel last week with what was described on Ebay as a 25 AH and knew they did not make anything in an odd size. Turned out I was right and picked up the 26 AHD for a reasonable cost but thanks for thinking of me. I am sure it will find a good home.
