Help me here. What is an OG exactly? Not a colt, doesn't have the two camshafts and looks like normal heavyweight cycle parts... So is it essentially a 250 cc NG, but with a Colt gearbox?

No totaly differend frame, the rearwheel is 2 inch more to the front due to differend frame castings later also used by the 1949 COMP roundfoot.
Differend engineplates, horn position, gearbox, primary, crankcase and frontforks.

It's a very nice light OG, i would swap it in on my wifes 1935 VH becouse she can't start it anymore but covid is in the way.

Bike couriers are still working in the UK Adrie (My 1927 Raleigh model 21 should be arriving next week) but I don't know how Brexit affects the purchase of bikes.

I think there would only be import tax on new items but you have to hear and feel a motorcycle before buying.

So many interesting things about this machine. How about the horn position? The gear change leaver is different. I am used to looking at NH/VH /W/NG petrol tanks so this one is very different with no panel and the oil gauge in the middle.
Is this tank variant used anywhere else?

The fork mounted Chronometric has the civilian mount typical to the civilian models. It is a wonder why W/NGs switched to side mounted speedos.
Whoever put this together really excelled.

The petroltank is OG-OH only, parts are very difficult to find.
