Arrow Injection

Post by Peter Holder »

Hi Alan
I am using a megasquirt ECU ,picked one up on Ebay, nobody I spoke to knew if it would work on a 2 stroke twin but persevering, as you do, I have had it running. Not fully set up yet but promising. As I have never been happy with the lubrication I have changed a lot, but before I go for max revs I am making a new crank assembly (have already cut the conrods).

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the feedback. I have always thought that the Megasquirt could be used for the 2 stroke twin, and you have proved that it is indeed possible. The programming, selection of sensors ,injectors and toothed wheel is a challenge that I am looking forward to.

Ivor, thanks for your interest. I will be using 2 GSXR 600 injectors/ throttle bodies. Transfer port injection or TPI is a very recent development, only seen on 2 stroke singles (Husqvarna etc)so far. Can't just see how it would fit on the Ariel Arrow, but someone may prove me wrong!
There is a lot of information on the Megasquirt forum, look for RD 350 YPVS.
