hi all my burgess air cleaner is missing the internal fillter I beleave thay are not available Is it possible to make it Or would it be better to try and fit a small paper element inside the burgess air cleaner If I am able to make it would some kind sole let me no the dimension and a photo would be a big help All the best

Use Filtron plastic foam and make up a shape and glue it together.A million times better than the old felted mesh of the Burgess element.The foam can also be used with open valves to exclude dirt.Even works on the front cylinder of an ohv Duggie.Regards John.

I bought some pit bike filter foam off eBay a while ago and have used it for a few applications. The one I bought has two layers one fine and one coarse, I have had to "trim" the fine filter off the sandwich for one bike as it was too restrictive. The piece I bought was around 12"-14" long by 6"-8" wide so plenty there to mess around with for very little cost.
