Anyone know who does cooling fin repairs on alloy barrels in Qld or elsewhere?

There is a very good ally welder in Capalaba, Bris,who is a whiz at classic bike finning,and quite cheap,as welders go.Unfortunately I have lost his name and no.,but it shouldnt be difficult to find him.Regards John.

I havent had any work done by him,but its the usual situation.I had a small amount of welding[cracks in a knucklehead gearbox end,and a drilled screwhole in a JAP timing cover] no more than a few minutes, done by a crowd at Slacks Creek,and they stung me $150.Of course then everyone knows where I should have taken it,wise after the event.Anyway Ron Russ told me of the guy who did his work.And gave me his card,which I may have somewhere.Anyway,as you may know Ron passed away suddenly,so I cant ask him.Regards John.
