Re: 1934 Red Hunter
The rearbrakelever-to-the-frame-lugg appears to be welded to the frame in a later stage, in that case it could be 1934.paul.jameson wrote:The frame appears to be 1936 or later but I can't be sure from what I can see.
There are Ariel heads with oilfeed to the exhaust guide to but it's useless without oilpressior, the inlet is sucking so that will lubricate.

Here are a few more pictures to give everyone a rough idea of what I'm dealing with.

Re: 1934 Red Hunter
The frame number reads F2764. So that should be a '36 frame, apparently.
If any one notices anything that should not be, or should be done differently from what you can see in the pictures, could you please let me know?
Thanks to everyone for their help.
Nick.

If there's an x before the F than it's 1937.
A picture of the oilfeed (left) side of the head would be nice, and the brake paddle to frame connection.

Re: 1934 Red Hunter
That would be a 1936 style frame as my 35 VH has frame F257 and is 36 on type frame .

Re: 1934 Red Hunter
That looks like a home made mounting for the brake pedal ,which is odd for that frame number F2764, as my October 35 VH with frame no F257 has the proper 36 mounting.

Re: 1934 Red Hunter
Unless it's a good factory brake mounting than the frame is 1936 and the crankcase 1934.ian.scott wrote:which is odd for that frame number F2764, as my October 35 VH with frame no F257 has the proper 36 mounting.
