Chopper oil problem solved
Hi Guys, I stripped a thoroughly cleaned oil pump and pushed a wire up the scavenger pipe to make sure the ball wasn't sticking, put everything back together and then primed the pump by kicking engine over without the plugs in. put plugs back in, kicked and started first kick. The feed back to the tank started almost immediately then the feed to the rocker box started flowing so thats one problem solved. Now think a ring is on the way out as there's quite a bit of smoke coming from r/h cylinder. But at least the oil problem now seems to have been sorted.

Well done Dave, you might find it will smoke for along time before it clears.
