Rib on mudguard

Post by Paul Slootheer »

I have been told that the Works at the end for a short time did alter the rib on top of the mudguard? Is this correct, or not true? I’have seen a example of a (ariel?) valancend front mudguard with a rather broad rib, more or less comparable with what I’ve seen on Triump pre-unit models. Who can tell me more on this?

There are narrow and broad rib versions of some mudguards, I must admit that I was not excited enough to note what Bruce told me about them. No doubt the change was brought about by a change of supplier rather then by design.
