Cost of a liner for a vh 500

Iv been looking at my + .060 barrel on the lucky dip engine iv bought although I never noticed it has a bit more wear than I originally thought I'm taking it to a guy that knows if it's useable it's not very bad iv seen some 0.066 pistons on the Internet and I wondered are they feasible or should I look to a liner
The liners are about 100 quid and then the cost of getting a machines shops work and then a new piston does anyone have a ball park figure of what this would cost approx
Or even a cast iron barrel for sale. And one last thing as I know nothing about liners do they come already for a std piston or do they also need boring
