Rivet Nuts

Anyone seen rivet nuts other than Metric or SAE?
Would like to use a 5/16th fine for the bolt attaching the front stand to the mudguard on a new alloy front mudguard.
Will make up an alloy pad with glue but want the main bolt to go into a rivet nut.

Haven’t found any fine threaded rivet nuts at all.

Try aircraft suppliers which is generally AN threads.Metric in Europe. AJS/Matchless have 4 small rivets holding the Captive nut and that looks OK. Nev

I googled imperial river nuts uk and got a lot of hits.
One supplier had UNC and UNF.
There was also a BSF supplier….
Options in steel and SS as well.

That could possibly make a mess when undoing later if the threads get rusted.
Have you had a look at how the stays are done on a VCH Ariel with their alloy guards? Handles allow the Bike to be Hauled out of the Mud, but are also useful when loading it into a Van or trailer. Nev
