Berlare - Houffalize - Berlare 656.8 Km. in two days .
Out of 225 participants about 18 declined beforehand because of expected hot weather.
And it was HOT temp. nudging 40 degrees C.
More than average number of breakdowns could be seen along the roads....
I am proud to mention that my 1945 NG ran faultlessy apart from a slight unwillingnes to re-start after the coffee breaks...
Dave showed me that at those moments I should re-adjust my starting technique
not just give it a kick where ever that piston would be but follow the official starting procedure !

Massive Gillet racer was not without trouble, second day it shed it's rear chain that wrapped itself around the frame. Rider (or should I write Pilote) had a lucky escape.
