Different approach . :D

The mini generator now pivots on the tube that holds the rear brake pedal shaft.
lower point where the generator 'cradle' slides sits on a extended engine through bolt.

Lowest engine plate/frame bolt also extended to take the planned backplate shown below

Now 'designing' a backplate on wich a smaller cover will fit that shapes itself over the two pulleys and belt.
The two blank studs visible will get much shorter, threaded and so out of the primary chain's way.

This has been away for a long time....some other bits got in the way :D .

See picture, this 1934 HD crankcase (in for aquablasting) has what it looks like factory drilled oil mist holes in the rear crankcase mouth.
My Model C will get a 'modern' Hepolite piston with oil control ring.
Should I drill a few holes ?

No Harm in that. It helps to Mist the oil better. Why do you want an oil control ring? 3 comp rings with "relieving" under the Lower works Fine Less friction , less blowby..I've run 18,000 Hard MILES on my W/NG without the Head off and It doesn't blow any smoke. Nev

Because that is the only type of piston I could get.

I got another compression ring made by Cox and Turner to replace the oil control ring.

Yet to try it....

It's no good for holding compression if holes are already drilled in the Piston at the base of the Oil groove. Worse if its slotted. Holes can be plugged. Nev
