Parts required for Model A 1929

Post by Alan.Rogers »

Hi All,
I am situated in Victoria Australia, and I am currently restoring our 1929 Ariel Model A 557cc SV ENG # H3029 FR #H3169, which has been in our family since 1936, so the bike is multi generational and is 97 years old.
I am definitely going to need many parts for the restoration and I would like to know who to make contact with in the AOMCC, to make enquiries about parts that may be available for this model Ariel. (It appears that Draganfly have drastically reduced the parts they supply for the Black Ariels)
I obtained advice from the secretary of the Australian Ariel Register, who is well known to me here, and it was recommended that I apply to become become a member of the AOMCC. This I am happy to do.
Any advice or assistance in this matter would be appreciated.
Regards, Alan Rogers.

Draganfly have not reduced their range of black Ariel parts, on the contrary they have been increased in recent years. As a rough guide there are in excess of 1,000 parts that end in -26/7/8/9/30/31/32.
