Trying to imagine what the difference could be between front mudguard stays for VALANCED guards and the STANDARD type?
Different Ariel numbers.

Flat vertical section near the top to clear the skirt. We may have a drawing, quote the 'do not use ' number and I will look.

The 'do not use' or drawing number A7/xxx or similar. All the drawings are under those numbers, listed in all parts books until 1956 and on the club website drawing list.
