oil pipe connections

Post by Terry.C. »

Hi all,
I am new to the club and would like to know if anyone has photos of the oil pipe connections from the oil tank to the engine connections. Also which connections from the tank are flow and return? Which line does the rocker feed go into? The bike is a 1953 350 NH Can you also recommend any modern oil to use in the bike.
Many thanks for any info
Best regards and a merry xmas and happy arieling in the new year

This diagram is from the '56 guide but it is the same for a '53 with the possible exception of the rocker feed that can come from a T piece on the oil tank return or from the timing cover it depends if it has been modified over the years.

For the T-piece to take the rocker feed from the return, see 5892-52 on Drags website:
