Re: WNG for sale in the Netherlands
I can see a long list of problems, the main one is that it isn't a W/NG but a Nederland Relief machine, which is as close as you can be to a W/NG. The one good point is that it has matching numbers.

Re: WNG for sale in the Netherlands
Thanks Roger, this is the first N.O.R.R. (Netherlands Organisation for Relief and Rehabilitation) NG that I see with a field stand (not there but the bracket) .
At some point (recently?) it lost it's -valuable- panel tank as the CP still has the drive sticking out.

It was despatched on 29th October 1945. I wonder if any other AP prefix frames have field stand lugs.

I also never came across a AP prefix frame with the field stand (lug), this is the first one! Not shure when the first batch of Netherlands Relief machines where shipped?
Maybe a early batch?

October 1945, so this is a quite early example. Maybe the first ones where with side stand? My NG was fitted with a 140km speedo and shipped on 29th December 1945.

It looks like the Dutch licence plate begins with 'TZ', that is from October 1959.
Look at this replica Indian made girder :

Side springs and star spring washer are exactly the same. I think we are looking at a cunningly disguised build from parts and flog it for thick money Ariel !
I was already wondering why they spray painted the whole plot green !
It puts a big question mark on all of it, is the framenumber original? it looks a bit high up.....

You might be right about the forks Vincent. Also the number looks quite high on the frame?
