Front mudguard compatibility

Post by DamienS »

Morning all, i have a 39 Square 4 and have the opportunity to purchase a valanced front mudguard from square 4 with later telescopic forks, my question is, will this front guard fit the girder fork front or will it need some modification, from the pictures i have seen the mudguards look identical in shape with the splayed bottom rear etc but curious if they will fit between the girders, thanks for any info

They are certainly the same basic shape and style but the brackets are quite different so they have different part numbers. The flattened part of the rib for the central bracket is in a different place, the tele one has indents or trapping on the sides to clear the fork legs. The number plate holes may be wrong depending on the year of the tele one. Drawings are available to club members for both versions and both are available new from Draganfly.
