rearbrake cable

Post by I Rea »

Hi I have 1954 square 4 mk2 with the downward pointing brake arm on the rear brake. I have just purchased a new brake cable. One end fits the brake pedal with a clevis pin. The other end of the cable has a short rod atached to the cable. I understandthis is also secured in the brake arm with a clevis pin.could some one please tell me the part numbers for the clevis pin the lug on the brake plate and the adjuster. I am totaly blind and cant look at any diagrams. Any help appreciated.

The rear brake arm should have a cup shape with a slot in it to hold the cable rather than a fork for a swivel pin, part number is 4402-54. The brake cable adjuster lug on the brake plate is 5731-54, the adjuster is 5734-53 and the lock nut is 5735-53
