Hi, can you tell me if you can overfil the gearbox? I have so far used 1.5 pints of semi-fluid grease?

Not really as it will soon leak out! Initial fill is 1-3/4 lbs or 800 gms. No I don't know the density of grease!

Thanks Roger, thats really useful. I believe the density is 0.89 g/cubic cm, so 800g = 1.58 pints. So I'm not far away.

No real leaks with the Gearbox Drive end seal Mod done. My W/NG got an award for Having no oil leaks. I ran 18,000 Miles on that Bike. 2 rear tyres and a chain replaced. You CAN drain a CP box IF you keep it fluid enough. Nev
