Ariel Huntmaster 650cc 1956

Good afternoon all.

I have an Ariel Huntmaster 650cc twin of 1956 (well the engine is), the bike is a 1954.

I am missing the oil "filter" that fits in the neck of the oil tank (not he type that fits on to the tank outlet). The two companies that I am aware of that used to supply them no longer do so.

Does anyone one have a spare one or is able to photograph theirs and provide measurements so I can get one made?

Since they are no longer available my aim was to make one for myself and half a dozen more and donate the half dozen to the club for the benefit of others who may find themselves in my position.

I do not want to go down the route of an external canister oil filter.

Your help would be gratefully appreciated.
