Hi all.
Firstly thank for having me on this forum.
Dad owns a 1951 Ariel 500 single VH.
Not a matching numbers as the motor is from a 1949 VG.
Got paperwork on both bikes from Britain.
Tank/oil tank was originally maroon.
In his wisdom??? he painted them blue just after he got the bike.(1967/68?)
Thanks again Chris.

Painting it blue was wise in 1967 and just different now. Welcome to the forum.
