yes, the market is slim, lots of oldtimers (those even older than us) die off or have started to 'uncollect' their collection.
Bikes that where onobtainable for many years to us lesser mortals become available.
Many are taken to auctions and - most likely- end up in another static collection, dont need spare parts as they are - again- not used.
So no gain there. And only to reappear again in a few years time.
Add to all this a lunatic in the east that makes for a somewhat akward future, and a public that slowly moves away from the combustion chamber only to fall in to the electric trap that is just another way to deplete the sources, oh well, what not..
I digress, your WNG, for it to be interesting for, lets say, a WD buff, it fails the mudguards, DU42 headlamp, both toolboxes, (I think I see a Concentric?) dynamo, original handlebar bits, field stand(is the lug cut off?) Ah! my pet part the Altette
etc.
Those -originals- are hard / very hard to find, and some WD buffs only want originals, no Indian repro stuff, some even prefer only NOS
If -IF- you can find those bits you pay serious money .
Ofcourse, it does not need to have all those bits, one can ride it as it is.
But buyers count their buttons (Dutch saying, dunno if that makes sense...) and want something more complete.
something that straight away holds its value, ofcourse thats mostly in their fantasy because when the shit really hits the fan you cant even buy a loaf of bread for your precious classic bike...
So there you have it... my view....
