It just went ping!

Just got the jetting sorted yo my satisfaction on the KH500 ( 1" monobloc, 30 pilot, 1065 needle jet, C needle one one groove richer than standard) and gave it a test run and full throttle plug chop, and noticed an oil leak in the head area. On examination it was a leak from the left hand side of the gasket, so I thought I would tighten the LHS head studs up. Well needless to say one was suspiciously easy to turn and then gave the dreaded ping and snapped! Drat drat and double drat! New studs and an Otto head gasket methinks!
I took the Panther and chair and the wife to the Conwy Quay bike meet to cheer myself up, a bit like re-entry in a space capsule on the bumpy bits, definitely most un Ariel like!
