Hi All,
Can anyone help with a RH footrest - the one with the big curl under the gearbox.
Thanks,

I've been looking for one for ages. too. Manx Classic Spares in Ballarat may have them in cast high strength bronze. Nev

Could you fabricate one from bar stock? Two pieces, one bent bar with the taper/threaded end, welded to a second piece, with a turned internal taper.

Yes you can do something like that. I don't even have an example to copy from. The military bike uses the same both sides as is done on some other models also. You do get a better clearance of the gear foot control lever with the "special" RHS footpeg. . IF you set the arm into the tapered section tapered to a point into one side, and vee out all around a nickel bronze weld (braising) will be stronger than mild steel. nev

You could just buy a new one from the Slovakia Klub:

For the average person that would be a good idea. looks like a "class" job. and it clears the gearbox well . It's further back than the alternative offerings so the short gearlever will work fine. Had a quick look. Need to translate . What sort of money? Emma Chisit? Nev
