Can anyone help with a RH footrest - the one with the big curl under the gearbox.

Could you fabricate one from bar stock? Two pieces, one bent bar with the taper/threaded end, welded to a second piece, with a turned internal taper.

Yes you can do something like that. I don't even have an example to copy from. The military bike uses the same both sides as is done on some other models also. You do get a better clearance of the gear foot control lever with the "special" RHS footpeg. . IF you set the arm into the tapered section tapered to a point into one side, and vee out all around a nickel bronze weld (braising) will be stronger than mild steel. nev

For the average person that would be a good idea. looks like a "class" job. and it clears the gearbox well . It's further back than the alternative offerings so the short gearlever will work fine. Had a quick look. Need to translate . What sort of money? Emma Chisit? Nev
