hi

next silly question --does the ariel sq4 crankcase have a paper gasket --mine did on disasembly --but cannot find any referance to one --or is it a dry joint

I don't recall a gasket between the halves, Allen.

Do you mean the one between the crankcase and barrel?

hi
no betwen the two halves of the crankshaft -cases -my venom didnt have one so i did wonder --this engine had a paper one --but cant find any referance to it any where

The crankcase joint does not have a gasket, only jointing compound.
