I tried this the other day, with big clunky cable ties I could release with tiny screwdriver. (and reuse)
I couldn't get the tyre over the last bit without two "helps" from the levers, but there is no risk of catching the tube and it was much quicker

So I'm told, it's logical thinking that I'm rubbish at.
Bryan has a gnome on a sidecar by his front door which set me thinking.
I don't have a front door or a front garden so the choice was limited.
I didn't what a gnome nd being an Ariel man a pixie was the obvious choice.
They cost a fortune now when they do turn up. An Ariel 3 although it does
have three wheels is just plain silly.
So . . .

HI the tyre fitting is a good idea but i would use tyre fitting soap or paste and not washing up liquid it has got to much salt in it but you have to get the old tyre off first you can use soap around the rim and old tyre to make it easier to get off
