1928 Tank Template

Is there anywhere a template for the 1928 petrol tank paint? I've looked on the Danish website but they don't have one.

And anyone advise on the pinstripe colours? I was planning to match the blue to the transfer (Its a Model D), but the gold/yellow? Any thoughts?

The only reference I know of comes from the 1928 parts list. The white area is a reflection ! Do it as you fancy, or have available, in terms of colours then swear blind it is as per original. When someone convinces you that you are wrong, they may have the answer.

the color pic from Dave Barkshire's book shows a -sort of- 1927 striping on a 1928 tank.
The 1928 striping was not so elaborate, just a horizontal straight line broken at the headstock opening.
It's up to you, study old pictures and look at what others did.
