Re: Jerry's Cammy
All the small bits. Seems to all be there except for a pair of brake shoes, for the early brake without the fulcrum adjuster. Anyone got a pair they don't want?

Re: Jerry's Cammy
Ummmm - I didn't paint it myself. Tank was heavily copper plated and ground down a couple of times to get a good surface for chroming then painted and lined by Lewis Templeton. Frame and other parts have been stove enamelled by a chap in High Wycombe. He did a really great job of filling and finishing especially on the corrosion on the back half of the frame and the wheel hubs. Wheels were built by Brickwood and he had the rims painted and coachlined.
Next job is to get some tyres fitted, get the frame assembled and then test fit the mudguards, toolbox, engine plates and so on before getting them painted. Then while that is being done I can get on with the engine and gearbox.

Oh....those look lovely Jerry.jerry.mortimore wrote:Well, collected my first chunk of cammy today from Alpha bearings and very nice they look too, compared to the state it was in.
Some of the scrap bits Alpha had replaced were certainly in a bad condition - chewed threads and corrosion.
