Re: Pushrod Material

Re: Arrow crankshaft repair

Also rather expensive these days, since max died and Chris Williams took over. Ask the cost first. When sending from overseas mark the custom's label with "Temporary import, parts for repair to be returned to owner". See also https://draganfly.co.uk/product-category/ariel/ariel-arrow-leade...

Re: sq mk2 footrests

A quick look in the parts book tells me that they are 5383-46 and are what might be termed standard fitment being found on all post 1946 rig/plun singles and twins.

Re: Ariel Factory Despatch records

At some point Johnson's became the importer, at least for the West Coast. Later when BSA set up their own company in the East at Nutley they also impor...

I wouldn't know the answer but I can't see how it could be anything other than correct unless some major alterations have taken place.

Re: New boy here! Square four MLY56?

Hi new boy, Ian. Sorry for the slow reply, I have been on a few rallies. I don't have an entry for that registration in the club's register but it may be in there under the engine and frame numbers. MLY is a London reg from November 1951 so the bike would be an early 1952 model.
