Ok so I found this in one of the boxes that came with my KH basket case.

I have never seen one like this before, as you can see its made to sit at the left side.
Could it be some kind of aftermarket advance control? The fabricate is Fischer. Cheers

I've used to have this at my Guzzi V7 in a clip on version. The twin carbs had strong springs which were quite uncomfortable on longer Autobahn stretches.
Louis in Germany sold this as 'motorcycle cruise control'.
