Running in nicely, thanks to help from the forum and several other great people. Last on the road in 1981.

Glyn,
I'd like one of those!
Lovely looking and the same age as me !!

Judging by the mileage that Steve Carter does on his they seem to be well up to modern road conditions as well.

Enjoy and ride safely.

The pie and pint look appetizing but the bike looks delicious and you haven't had to use the serviette under the bike!!

Thanks. Yep, my Dad's old bike. Using "running in" oil and trying to keep it under 40mph for the first 300miles. Though I did hit 50 for a few moments (naughty! But nice...). Riding well, once I got used to the gear changes and early brake application. Looking forward to a club meeting / ride out. I've added a picture of what the bike looked like when I started.

Glyn.

Glyn
Yes looking very nice. We would like to see a photo other side as well.
Is that an electronic ignition protected with a drip guard because of a leaky amal

Thanks.

Well spotted, yes I have gone for a Parzon ignition system. Here's a pic of the other side.
