Hello
Sorry for my bad english !
I got a 500VH with differents parts of 1953 and 1956
I would like to install an aluminium hub on a front fork 1953 ( I haven’t the steel brake ). Is it possible ? And if so what are the modifications to do on the spindle ?
Thank you very much for kind help

Use the later BSA type fork bottoms

Thank you for this advice
But for now, I don’t have such fork sleeves.
Can you tell me which BSA model to use ?
Friendly

There are several BSA fork legs, I did try to list all the differences once to sort out a large pile of them but it was too confusing. As the bike is 1953 I would use the earlier hub as it looks better (my opinion) and is a better brake. Brake plates can be found but many are bent and with dust covers in poor condition.
